“Working in geriatric rehabilitative services in skilled nursing facilities for 15 years, I
have seen scores of older adults fall repeatedly. I've seen many patients return to
a skilled facility following rehab due to another fall after returning home. I've
witnessed the heart-wrenching conversations that responsible family members
have with their loved ones when they must be placed in a facility environment for
their own safety due to falls. Out of this heartache, and a desire to help keep
seniors living independently, at home (where they all want to be!), I invented the
